Privacy Policy

ZulfiEra Ai ("ZulfiEra", "we", "us") is an AI assistant built and operated by ZulfiTech, founded by Shaik Gouse Basha. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we handle when you use zulfiera.com, why, and the choices you have.

1. Information we handle

Chats, files and images

Messages you type, and files, photos, sketches or voice recordings you add, are sent to our service so the AI can respond. We process them to generate the answer.

• Signed in: your chat history is saved to your account in our database, so it's available on every device where you sign in. A saved chat includes the messages and replies, text you pasted, the names of files you attached, and small previews of photos. It doesn't include the full contents of attached files or full-size generated images: those stay in your browser. Settings → Data → Delete all chats removes your chats from your account and from this browser. You can also delete chats one at a time.
• Not signed in (guest): your chats are stored only in your browser's local storage on your device. Clearing your browser data, or using Settings → Data → Delete all chats, removes them.
• Knowledge base (signed in): the text of documents you add to your knowledge base is stored in your account so ZulfiEra can answer from them, until you delete them.
• Answer feedback (👍 / 👎): when you rate an answer, we store the rating, any reasons you pick and any comment you write (linked to your account if you're signed in). The question and the answer are stored only if you tick Share this question and answer for that answer; passwords, keys and similar secrets are hidden first. Feedback is deleted after 180 days, and when you use Delete all chats.

Account information (if you sign in)

• Your email address, used to send your sign-in code and to identify your account.
• Settings you choose: role, the name you'd like ZulfiEra to use, and "about you" personalization notes.
• Daily credit usage counters, sign-in times, your plan, and whether you joined the Premium waitlist.
• A secure session cookie so you stay signed in (up to 30 days).

Guests

If you use ZulfiEra without signing in, we set a random guest cookie and count daily credits per guest and per network (IP address) to prevent abuse. We don't link this to your identity.

Technical data

Like most websites, our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and error logs, to deliver and secure the service.

2. How we use information

• To provide the service: generate answers, read your files and images, create and edit images, and transcribe voice input.
• To run your account: sign-in codes, personalization and daily credits.
• To keep ZulfiEra safe and working: preventing abuse, fixing errors, and enforcing fair-use limits.
• To contact you about your account, such as a welcome email or Premium launch news if you joined the waitlist.

We do not sell your personal data, show you ads, or use your conversations to train or improve AI models. Feedback you choose to send is read by our team only to find and fix mistakes in ZulfiEra's answers (its instructions and automatic checks); it isn't used to train AI models.

3. Service providers we use

We rely on a few trusted providers to run ZulfiEra. They process data only on our behalf, to deliver the service:

• Cloud hosting and security: running the app, protecting it from attacks, and storing our account database.
• AI computing: running the open-source AI models that write answers, read images, transcribe voice and create or edit images.
• Web search: when you pick Search the web, or ask about something current (news, prices, latest versions), the words of your question are sent to a search provider to find pages, and the answer links to them. Your name, email, files and earlier messages are not sent.
• Email delivery: sending sign-in and account emails.

These providers may process data outside India. Each is bound by its own privacy and security commitments. You can ask us for the current list of providers by emailing shaikgousebasha8008@gmail.com.

4. Your choices and rights

• Chats: delete them any time in Settings → Data (when you're signed in, this also deletes them from your account). Clearing browser data removes only this browser's copy.
• Knowledge base documents: delete them any time in the knowledge base panel.
• Feedback: rating an answer is optional, and sharing its question and answer is a separate choice each time.
• Personalization: edit or clear it in Settings → Personalization.
• Account: you can ask us to access, correct or delete your account data by emailing shaikgousebasha8008@gmail.com.

We aim to handle your data in line with applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

5. Security and retention

Sign-in codes and session tokens are stored only in hashed (scrambled) form. Connections are encrypted with HTTPS. Account data, including saved chats and knowledge base documents, is kept while your account is active, until you delete it, and is deleted on request. Credit usage counters are daily records used for limits and statistics. Network (IP) addresses used for abuse limits are stored only in a scrambled form that can't be turned back into the address, and are deleted after two days. Answer feedback is deleted after 180 days.

6. Children

ZulfiEra Ai is only for people aged 18 or older. If you're under 18, please don't use it. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we'll delete it. A parent or guardian who believes their child has used ZulfiEra can email shaikgousebasha8008@gmail.com and we'll remove the data.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as ZulfiEra grows. We'll change the date above, and for important changes we'll let signed-in users know.
